“Wenshu Monastery is a Buddhist sacred place that integrates Zen forests, ancient gardens and architectures, pilgrimage and sightseeing, and religious studies. It has profound Buddhist history and culture, as well as antique and elegant ancient buildings. Visitors can also enjoy local Tea, vegetarian cuisine, copy Buddhist scriptures, which is full of Zen atmosphere and a great place for relaxation and leisure.
Wenshu Monastery covers an area of over 200,000 square meters and was first built during the Sui Dynasty’s Daye period (605-617). It is the most intact Buddhist temple preserved in Chengdu. The buildings of Wenshu Monastery are dominated by the central axis, with architectural styles mainly including double-eaves Xieshan style and single-eaves Xuanshan style, all presenting an inward layout. The layout of the buildings follows strict hierarchical and graded distinctions, reflecting the constraints of the ritual system.”
Anything goes in Vegas. You could go high with today’s optionals: a heli-tour over The Strip or a ride on the High Roller Observation Wheel. We’ve got optional shooting range visits, too! Just remember to save some energy for one more night out among the bright lights and Elvis impersonators.
